Kim Jamieson-Hirst
I’m Kim Jamieson-Hirst, the owner of Chatterbox Quilts, a quilting business dedicated to helping quilters learn and improve their skills. I enjoy sharing my knowledge through the Chatterbox Quilts’ YouTube channel, and my private online membership, The Quilter’s Way, where members learn new techniques by creating projects.
I don’t believe in the quilt police but I do believe that quilting is more than stitching an accurate 1⁄4” seam (if it ain’t fun, it ain’t quilting 😉), that chocolate is an essential quilting tool, and that practice makes improvement…and you’re improving with each quilt you make!

In Quilt Blocks, Reimagined I’ll show you how fabric choices, quilting designs, and texture can completely transform a traditional quilt block. I’ll be working with 4 different blocks: the Maple Leaf block, a partial seams block, a raw edge appliqué heart block, and a Dresden Plate block but the ideas I’ll be sharing can be used to enhance any quilt block.
